Circumstance Cape Coral Mourvèdre from Waterkloof in Somerset West is one of the few pink wines around that I’m able to bear. The 2012 (R85 a bottle) underwent spontaneous fermentation which took five months to complete and then spent a further five months on the lees for extra complexity. Macerated strawberries and a hint of spice, quite thick textured thanks to that extended lees contact and a dry finish. Score: 15.5/20.

Yea, Yea. The only Rose I drink on my annual pilgrimage to RSA.
