Tim James on behalf of the Mail & Guardian recently conducted a poll of 29 wine professionals to establish a top 20 list of wine producers in South Africa and you can read the results here.

My nominations were as follows:

    A lot of inquiries as to what standards were applied when it came to nominating wineries. The original email from Tim James to those polled read as follows: “As to criteria, it is often more intuitive, perhaps, how you weigh up a tiny winery with a single good wine against a large producer with a few equally good wines but also a lot of dross, etc, etc. You must decide. The only criterion I am imposing, please, is the modest one that the winery must have a track record of at least three vintages.”

  2. Ek het ook toe ek artikel gelees het my eie top 20 gedoen en voel rijks baie unlcky om uit te val. Creation ook word deur niemand genoem.
